About Us:

           Business & Estate Advisers of Wisconsin, Inc. is a locally owned and operated financial planning firm with a rich, client-centric history dating back to 1968.  We make it our mission to provide our clients with professional, customized financial and business planning strategies designed to achieve individual goals and honor individual priorities. Getting to your end-goal can often times include detours and unexpected occurrences. We work to help you navigate those circumstances by giving knowledgeable guidance and creating customized plans based off your financial goals. Business & Estate Advisers of WI, Inc. is independently owned and is not bound to any one company, product, or provider. As your planning advocate, we bring together the necessary resources based on your unique needs and deliver them with objectivity and superior personal service.

           Through our independent relationships with several industry-leading providers, Business & Estate Advisers of WI, Inc.  has access to some of the top-tier resources in our profession. These alliances include the ValMark Securities (our broker dealer), as well as Schwab Institutional, Pershing, a third-party administrator for employer sponsored plans, and a network of highly rated insurance companies and financial institutions. We are committed to actively engaging in our community, creating positive impact through our client relationships, community involvement, and charitable contributions.  

 

History:

         Business and Estate Advisers was founded by E. Dennis Zahrbock in 1968 with roots in Minnesota. When E. Dennis moved to the lake, Silver Lake in Cumberland, he brought the business with him.  The Rice Lake office was established in 2003. Our current owner and president, Stef Fiedler, has been with the company since 2004 and took over in 2020. She spent her early years learning from industry leading mentors and leans on her background in the service side of the industry to ensure clients can always expect Business & Estate Advisers of WI, Inc. will provide a wonderful, warm welcome along with quality customer service.

 

Community Involvement:

            B&E WI places an emphasis on being involved in the communities it serves. Our employees serve on different committees and boards helping to fundraise and give guidance. Stef is actively involved with the Boys & Girls Club of Barron County, serving as Secretary and on multiple committees. She is also a part of the Rice Lake Aquatics and Rec Center along with Hunt Hill. Chad Peterson is involved in the Rice Lake Area Scholarship Foundation while Eric Pelle is actively involved with Kiwanis and Bethany Lutheran Church.

 

Charitable Giving:

           B&E WI was founded with deep belief in giving back. Over the years B&E WI has made charitable giving a priority. This includes specializing in unique ways to help clients make gifts and making gifts. B&E WI provides services to charities for nominal cost, if any. We also make gifts to charities on behalf of our clients on a regular basis.
